We thank CBMBA for sharing this proposal with us ahead of the comment period and sitting down to discuss it. We look forward to continuing such conversations throughout and beyond this process so we can work together to achieve results that are protective of wildlife and natural resources while also providing recreational opportunities. We are also looking forward to working with the Forest Service and others on this proposal to achieve such an outcome. An EA would allow the Forest Service and the public to thoroughly consider direct, indirect and cumulative environmental impacts and potential user conflicts and how such impacts and conflicts, if any, can be avoided, mitigated and minimized.
