High Country Conservation Advocates celebrates its 40th year with a special Double-Header 40th Anniversary Red Lady Salvation Ball. Due to the overwhelming interest in our 40th anniversary event, HCCA is excited to make this Ball a two-night affair. We have much to be thankful for, and we want everyone to celebrate with us! Last year’s tidal wave of positive change in HCCA’s and the community’s 40-year effort to save Red Lady has brought us remarkably close to achieving a long-term, protective solution for our treasured mountain and our valleys.
Red Lady Ball featuring The Red Lady Ramblers
Red Lady Ball featuring The String Cheese Incident
On Friday, March 10th, the String Cheese Incident will take center stage at the Eldo for the exciting climax of the Red Lady Ball. SCI has deep roots in the Crested Butte community, as they began their journey playing at the Center for the Arts and on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. SCI also played at our 25th Red Lady Ball in 2002, which has become a legendary concert for HCCA and the community. For the Friday Ball, doors open at 7 p.m. as well. Please note, this show is currently sold out. Thanks to the Eldo and The String Cheese Incident, KBUT community radio will be doing a live broadcast of the Friday show. Photo: Scott McCormick
We hope that you will join us in your finest red regalia for either or both nights to make our Double-Header—Double-Redder!
Many thanks to The Eldo for hosting this double-header!
