Thank you to all the HCCA supporters and community members who came to our John Fielder Celebration of Wilderness event at Scarp Ridge Lodge on July 20th. Thanks to you all, it was a sold-out event! HCCA was so honored to host John in Crested Butte to discuss his 40-year career in Wilderness photography, along with The Studio of the Center for the Arts.

Did you miss John Fielder in July?  Come join us this Tuesday 5:00-7:00 at the Piper Gallery – Located in the Center for the Arts, Crested Butte.  Artwork will be displayed through August.

In this year of the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act, the celebration continues with the unveiling of 10 of John’s most iconic images, at the Piper Gallery in Crested Butte. Starting Monday, August 11th through August 26th, view Fielder’s work will appear the Piper Gallery at the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte (606 6th Street). The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on Tuesday, August 12th from 5-7 pm, hosted by HCCA, and open to the public. Lights app and drinks will be provided. The gallery is FREE and open to the public, during Center business hours, or during events.
