Join High Country Conservation Advocates this winter on our fun and educational snowshoe tours! These free tours, for locals and visitors alike, are a great way to get out and experience our winter landscape, while learning more about our important work, specifically our water program work relating to instream flows. Join us for these Tuesday tours on January 5th, February 9th, and March 8th as we explore the breathtaking headwaters of the Slate River Valley, and many other beautiful locations. These 3-hour tours of low-to-moderate exertion level meet at the Crested Butte Nordic Center at 10:00 AM, where you can also get specially-discounted snowshoe rentals for $15. Bring a pack with snacks, warm clothing and extra layers, water, a camera, and an adventurous spirit!
Please sign up ahead of time as space is limited to 12 people. All tours are free, but donations to HCCA are gratefully accepted. For more information and to register please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
