The ultimate SCI fan dream prize! Support High Country Conservation Advocates and bid on your chance to cat ski with members of The String Cheese Incident in Irwin, Colorado with Eleven Experience. The lucky bidder (and a friend) will have the time of their life!
Located just 13 miles west of Crested Butte, Irwin is a meteorological anomaly, meaning it snows A LOT there. Irwin often sees three times the amount of snow as the resort, averaging nearly 500 inches a season. This means deep powder, and then some. The town of Irwin sits in the middle of the mountains—very remote and only accessible by snowcat or snowmobile. Guests typically snag 8-10 runs per day, breaking for lunch. The terrain is suitable for intermediate-expert skiers, with everything from low-angle glades to steep bowls. Expect après cocktails and snacks at the on-mountain chalet at day’s end.
This cat skiing tour for two will take place on March 10, 2017 and will be followed with the Red Lady Ball String Cheese Incident show at the Eldo in Crested Butte, Colorado (two tickets to the show and a signed tour poster are also included in this package). All proceeds from this auction will benefit High Country Conservation Advocates’ Red Lady Defense Fund. For more information about this special experience, please click HERE.
