Emma Griffin – Outreach and Water Intern

Emma graduated from Western State Colorado University in the Spring of 2014, where she received BA in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on water, as well as a Business minor. Attending Western caused Emma to fall in love with Gunnison, and she is now seeking professional opportunities in the Valley. When not working, Emma enjoys riding her horse, hiking, and hanging by the river. Emma’s passion for water issues and teaching, makes her an ideal candidate for summer outreach activities on behalf of HCCA. Emma also works as a teacher for Mountain Roots Food Project’s summer garden camps. She is excited to be working with HCCA, and will be using the summer to determine what the future holds  in the environmental field!
