Help protect our local ecosystems by joining our community for a cheatgrass pull on Saturday, May 31st. Cheatgrass is a highly invasive grass species that fuels wildfires, crowds out native plants, and threatens sagebrush habitat critical to wildlife (also our favorite hiking/birding/hunting areas). By removing it before it seeds, we’re giving native plants a better chance to thrive while reducing fire risk.
Meet at the Legion Park pavilion at 9:30 am to grab supplies/send groups out.
We will meet back up at the pavilion at 2pm for food, drinks, and swag to celebrate our hard work!
Every hand makes a difference; come out, pull out some cheatgrass, and be part of the solution!
