Working Lands Irrigation Project

Join HCCA and CBLT for a volunteer workday on the Robinson parcel, conserved by CBLT in 1998, on Saturday, September 12 from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers will work implement the final phase of installing a new irrigation system to support the property's long-term stewardship for open space.

About the event

Join High Country Conservation Advocates (HCCA) and the Crested Butte Land Trust (CBLT) on Saturday, September 12 for the Working Lands Irrigation Project.


Volunteers will help complete the final phase of installing a new irrigation system on a conserved property along the CB-Mt. CB rec path by working alongside HCCA and CBLT staff on the Robinson Parcel to install irrigation pipes and attach control gates for the sprinkler system. Once completed, the upgraded system will reduce labor, improve water efficiency, and support the property's long-term stewardship for open space. The Robinson parcel was conserved by CBLT in 1998, supporting the ongoing ranching legacy of the Rozman Family, which has stewarded the property for generations.
